Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information TextToCSV (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website, and how it is handled. In short: the files and text you convert are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to us.

The data you convert

All conversions run locally in your browser using JavaScript. The text you paste and the files you select are not transmitted to our servers, not stored by us, and not shared with third parties. If you use the on-device history feature, recent conversions are saved only in your browser’s local storage on your device, and you can clear them at any time.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — for example, which tools are popular and which pages have errors. Analytics may set cookies and collect data such as your approximate region, device type and the pages you visit. It does not receive the contents of your conversions. You can opt out using browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Advertising

This site may display advertising, including via Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn about and opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage for two purposes: remembering that you have seen the cookie notice and your preferences, and the analytics and advertising described above. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so will not affect the conversion tools, which work without them.

You can use the converters without an account. You may block cookies, use private browsing, install the analytics opt-out, and clear your on-device history at any time. Because we do not collect personal data through the tools, there is no account to delete.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
